Eagerly awaiting for his guests to arrive. He had been excited all day for his friends to come and had been counting down the hours since he woke up that morning. At 2 pm, I told him he could wait by the window and at about 2:10 all of his friends showed up all at once.
The day of his party was raining! It was kinda hard to move a camping party indoors but we did! This was the activity table. I got a picnic tablecloth and got tin pie sheets to look like a mess kit. The activity was to make lantern bags! These would be used later on for the scavenger hunt. The kids had a lot of fun doing this.

Camp Brian water bottle labels!
It stopped raining and we where able to move the scavenger hunt outside! This group is ready!
Brian had a lot of input into planning his own party. He really wanted a bear game of some sort. So, my Mom made this and sewed it to some netting and made some tan bean bags (honey.)
Throw the honey into the bear! When they did this they earned a magnify glass to use in the scavenger hunt.
She also made this fish piƱata and hid a owl ring inside its mouth! They also did a target shooting game and fishing for a fish ( fish) erasers in a lake.
The last game was a scavenger hunt. They had to use their magnify glass to bug stickers and critter erasers. The kids had a lot of fun finding and collecting stuff to put in their bag lanterns.
The Cake! Man, this really made the party. You should have seen the kids reactions when they saw it. Brian picked out this cake from a few options that I showed him and I asked my friend Sara to make it. It was S'more flavored and tasted so good. The kids loved the flames so each got one with their piece of cake.
Singing Happy Birthday! He asked for his friend Weston to help him blow the candle out!!
These Camp Brian water bottle labels where fun to make!
Pizza time! Brian kept saying "I had so many guests, they all didn't fit around the table!"
Present time. Brian was so blessed with so many wonderful toys. He got a build a bear stuffed animal that we plan to do on his birthday! His friend Weston got him some balloons that you blow up and watch them fly. He plays with them whenever he is over his house, so now Brian has his own.
For goody bags, the kids got to make their own trail mix bags! They loved it.
Birthday boy looking at all the candy!
Trail mix bar! Wood Chips- banana chips, Grizzly bears- teddy grahams, Trout-goldfish, Snowcapped Mountains- sno caps, firewood- pretzel sticks, fire flames- candy corn and fish food-raisins. It was so fun!
Happy Birthday Brian! You are such a good swimmer, big brother, older cousin and friend. Your peacemaking skills have taught me so much and I hope you always loves others as you do right now in your life!
