Brian turned 5 on the 16th and we celebrated in this house. Brian LOVES balloons and streamers, so the night before I decorated the hallway and the living room. It was worth the effort when I saw his reaction when he woke up. He thought it was the coolest thing ever.
We waited until his actual day of birth to give him our presents. He wanted to open them first thing in the morning and we left him!
He an outside beach ball the fills up with water to use in the yard, a glow in the dark art kit, goggles and some other fun yard stuff. He also got a new shirt to wear for the day and some birthday cards and a gift from Grandma in Utah. He was blessed by so many people helping to make his birthday fun.
One of his friends from his birthday, gave him a bear to take to Build A Bear! He was so excited. We had all never been so we where excited to go. He really enjoyed the whole process.
Stuffing the bear. He found this part really interesting.
This was his favorite part; bathing and brushing the bear.
He named it fluffball! Brian picked out the scent cotton candy and his Dad left a special message for Brian to hear anytime he wants.
Such a fun time!
We asked Brian where he wanted to go for lunch and he said Chuck E Cheese. He has driven past it a few times but had never been and wanted to go. So we asked our Friend Weston to join us. These two had a fun time eating pizza, playing arcade games and meet the mouse himself. These two are quite funny to watch interact.
There where SO MANY games to choose from and they two crazies kept coming back to this one. They must have played it at least 10

Brian was so excited to meet the Mouse! It was such a fun time!
Our big activity of the day was taking Brian indoor sky diving. Brian always says that he wishes he was a baby bird so he could fly. Well, he did just that. The boy had no fear and was so ready to go as soon as we walked in the place. He did admit afterwards that he was a "little nervous and excited but more excited!"
Thumbs up! All ready to go. I was nervous but he was all set!
I was a little nervous at this part, but he was so confident and was so excited and that made me happy.
He gave us the thumbs up a few times! He loved it and got to go two times! Man, what a fun birthday. We ended the night with Mexican and popsicles.
Brian, you have so many great qualities. You always try to choose the right and encourage others to do the same. You have such eye for detail and have such a great memory. You are a good and protective older brother and great peacemaker.
Happy Birthday Brian!
