Summer is almost here and Brian is ready for it. We have had so many hot days lately and Brian does not mind at all, he prefers to spend all day everyday outside.
Brian had his first run of the season on the slip n slide and he loved it. He spent all afternoon on it. He also got dish soap to add to the fun and he had a ball!
We took Brian to the beach after his birthday party. My favorite time of day is going in the early evening. Brian loved going with his Dad in the water and running back before the waves caught them.
Since Brian's birthday fell on a Monday, I asked him to pick a fun activity and that he could invite one friend along! He picked bowling and we invited our friend Weston. I got them subway for lunch and took these two crazies bowling. It was so fun to watch them and to see their reactions when they rolled the ball. The top right picture was their victory dance they did after they knocked ONE pin!! They acted like they own the joint.
This was one morning where he was doing some bug catching after he sent his Dad off to work. He will watch from the steps and yell Bye until the his car is out of sight. He looks so much like Andy in this picture.
Just doing some afternoon reading. He is participating in his library's 1,000 books before kindergarten and so far we have read about 300 books. It helps that he gets a ice cream gift card when he reads 500 books!
Working on a shape worksheet. He came to one shape and asked me if it was a "hexagon or a rhombuses?"
Andy went early morning with a friend and caught this! It was a sturgeon! He was very happy!
Brian has been into playing catch lately. His Papa got his very own mitt and ball for his birthday and he has played around with a lot.
Making popsicles one afternoon. It was a very hot afternoon and he enjoyed it.
We spent on evening at his best friends Bo's house and we went for the first swim of the season and then had a picnic after. They two are so fun to watch play. After, they had a little batting practice! They both have a pretty good swing.
Brian working with his tools on our patio. He keeps telling his is not a boy, but a man and needs to work hard like his Daddy." He tells me he is not playing, he is working hard like his daddy :)
