Brian has been really into tracing these days. Every morning, before we start getting busy with the day, I have him do a few worksheets. He is working on writing his own name too, he just needs a little motivation :)
Brian's Preschool Co-Op had a Fall theme one day. They went outside and did a fall scavenger hunt and he liked it. It was interesting to see him work together and interact with the other kids to find things.
Trying to find bark. He was pretty intrigued by it!
Drawing what we found. He LOVED the dry erase board and would not give it back until every last bit was erased off. He is such a perfectionist.
This boy loves the park. If I give him a list of choices like library, beach or a walk, he ALWAYS chooses the park. We go a lot and have lunch with his friends. They play so well together. He has quite the imagination and is always asking his friends to play with whatever games he has come up with.
"Push me really, really, REALLY high Mom." He really is such a little daredevil.
Showing the appropriate amount of enthusiasm for tracing all the letters of his name. My goal is to have him writing his whole name by the firs of the year.
So Brian is fully potty trained. He had been ready for a while but would not let go of his diaper. One morning, he asked me to change his diaper and I had enough. I took his diaper of, threw it away in the trash and informed him there where no more left. He cried, but I was firm and made him put on underpants. Well, he was ready all right. He caught on right away and that first day did not have one single accident. He even wanted to call his best friend Bohdi and tell him. He was quite proud of himself. Papa had promised him that when he was out diapers, that he would take him to Lego Land! The above picture was taken on his way there!
This place was made with Bubba in mind. Every size, shape and color Lego you could ever imagine was there. They where all organized into bins and you where able to pick the ones you wanted to make a animal or car. They did both! He loved the whole process. He was very determined to follow directions and get the right lego's for his creations.
He could have spent the whole day there. I did quite a bit of Christmas shopping there also.
The two Brian's working together to build an animal. He is so good to his namesake. Thanks for a fun day Papa.
