Galveston, Texas

Last weekend, we went with some friends to Porretto beach in Galveston Texas. Galveston is a beautiful area of Texas. In some ways, it reminds of Salisbury Beach, the beach I grew up with back east. It was a beautiful drive to Galveston and Andy and I enjoyed being able to explore more areas of Texas.
This little guy, the lover of anything with sand or dirt, really enjoyed the beach. If we let him he could have easily spend ALL day out in the hot sand, playing with his sand toys. Just give him a shovel and a play and he will be set.

Playing in the sand with his friend James. It was his birthday, so we had a beach party!

Just some cute ones of Bubba enjoying the water. As soon as we got to the beach, he grabbed Andy's hand and dragged him into the beach. It was low tide, so he was able to sit down and enjoyed the waves crashing into him. He also liked to pretend like he was afraid of the waves crashing and he would run to shore for safety. Silly boy!! I love his imagination.

I LOVE this picture of Andy and Bubba in the water. Yep, the water is a little brown. The reasoning behind that is the mouth of the mississippi river is so near.

Taking my little Bubba for a swim! My little fish wouldn't let me hold him for long when there is water he wants to play in. The other picture is him getting all excited when he saw a plane fly by. Could this day have got any better for him?!?

Tuckered out!
