This very well might be one of my favorite all time pictures of Brian. Andy and I can't stop talking about how big he looks in this picture! The matching ties where a Father's Day gift from my parents.
Although we are not able to spend as much time outside as we would like due to the heat, we still go to the park everyday. He is actually able to climb up these jungle gyms all the way to the top with me spotting him.
My little nature lover. He is always so curious about how things work/grow.
We all went Blueberry picking last week and Brian loved it. He loved running up and down the fields
so we had to put the monkey on him but it didn't slow him down. He "helped" us pick about 2 lbs of
berries, although he didn't quite grasp the concept to pay/weigh before you eat.
Learning about the letter "Y" in our letter/preschool activity. The bottom two pictures are of him
putting together these "I Spy" flashcards/puzzles. He LOVES "I Spy" books so he spent
a while on this activity. Funny story: When he couldn't get the cards to fit he would say
"Eh Eh....it not fit!!"
I have been really good about letting him go by himself to his church nursery class on Sundays.
I peaked on Father's Day and I was so happy to see him enjoying himself so much.
My lefty painting! He would yell out every color he chose to paint with before he would dip
his brush in.
Playing with the parachute is by far his favorite nursery activity. He often takes charge in
situations like this and persuades the other kids to jump in the middle after they are done
spinning it.
Playing with shaving cream. This is one sensory activity that we will be trying at home. Bubba
had an accident so he was just in his diaper.
So far Brian has transitioned really well to Texas. He has even stated speaking in full sentences.
Yesterday, he heard a car start and he looks at me and said "dat not a woo woo, dat a car!"
My little pip sure keeps me entertained all day, but his favorite part of the whole day is
when Daddy comes home from work. So grateful Andy has a job that he loves and provides
for us!
