The class starts off with stretching. Brian got the concept and enjoyed copying the teachers. He did pretty well seeing that he was the youngest in his class. A lot of the kids liked helping him.
The teacher set up all kind of stations with different activities that they would do three times each. This one of his favorites...climbing a ladder (he had no reservations about it), sliding down "the mountain" and jumping into the foam pit!
Playing in the "blocks" as he called them. This picture says it all! Every time he needed help he would yell "Stuck Stuck!!"
He did pretty well at this station too. He had to push off his teacher and use his hands to climb to a slide.
When he reached the slide, she would help him do a summersault. He always had a big smile on his face when he landed.
Putting on his game face as he walked across the balance beam! He had to be carful not to step on the fish. He actually had pretty good balance. He concentrated so hard for this task.
This station was pretty fitting for him...pretending to climb like a monkey!
It was so fun watching him use the rings. I love watching his face as he try's new things.
Being flexible!
Trying to show off for his teacher!
Getting a sticker at the end for good participation!
He sure did work up at appetite while at Gymnastics! He had two servings of yogurt and granola! What a fun day with the Bubba!
