Happy Birthday, Andy!

Andy had a BIRTHDAY on the 19th! It is always fun to celebrate my Christmas baby. Andy is a huge Jazz Fan. I found out they would be coming to Boston about 2 weeks after Christmas and throught it would be a FUN Birthday present for him. So, I set up the downstairs like celtics locker room with a banner, tablecloth, napkins, plates and of course.... the CAKE! You can't have a basketball themed birthday withouta Basketball cake. 

This was one fun cake to make. Brian stayed up with me and we busted out these reeses pieces on this cake. It took us a while to get them all separated by color and then place them carefully on the cake to resemble as basketball. It was worth it in the end because Bri stayed it was one of the best cakes ever.

 

The kids love celebrating their Daddy and we woke up early before school to sing happy birthday and open presents. Here is my Jazz fan realizing he gets to see them play! The kids were excited to see him so HAPPY on his special day. We have the tradition of waiting till the kids get home from school and then digging into the cake with ice cream!

Happy Birthday, Andy! He had a great day being spoiled by my family! He was treated to lunch, went out with the family for dinner and then went out with some friends that night to play basketball.
