Annie is one lucky girl. Let me back up. My Mom is a retired Preschool teacher. Many have benefited from having Mrs. Donahue as a teacher. So, when covid hit and Annie has to withdraw from Preschool, it was a pretty sad day. My Mom and I where worried about how to break the news to her. So, to soften the blow, my Mom offered to do a Gaga's Preschool once a week. She asked cousin to join in too. Now, this was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of Annie's week. Every week, she would inquire about when she would have Gaga's preschool. My Mom saved all of her manipulatives from the classroom and used them with Annie and Ella. They wrote, did math and many other fun activities. You know their art loving Gaga snuck in a lot of Art activities for these girls.
After a whole year of Gaga's Preschool, these two GRADUATED! She had a little ceremony for them! Diplomas and everything! It was a proud day for everyone!
The proud graduates! I can't get over Annie's face in this one. She is quite proud of herself.
Gaga and her mini me! What a lucky girl!
Gaga and Ella!
Every time they had preschool, Papa would pick them up (yeah, they had it that good) and they would be treated to a strawberry doughnut. My dad took an active part in it too. I will always remember the time he took to play an M&M game with them. I will always remember this special time in Annie's life and her wonderful Grandmother that enriched it.
