Easter 2019

Easter,I love this time of year and celebrating this meaningful and purposeful holiday. I tried to focus on and teach the kids the true meaning of this holiday. Reading from the New Testament every night helped. These kids enjoyed this this special time of year.

Every year since these two where 2 years of age, they have gotten together and dyed Easter eggs. This year we ditched the traditional egg dying and went to shaving cream and food dye. The kids liked doing it. The finished product ended up as a centerpiece on my kitchen table.

On Good Friday, we invited two church friends over to dye Easter Eggs and play outside. They had fun.

After Dance class, we met Gaga for lunch. Well, she made Annie work for her meal. She helped her Gaga stuff Easter eggs for a friends Easter egg hunt that we all went to. Annie liked helping, munching on the chocolate sure helped.

Our good friend and neighbor came over for an Easter Egg playdate too, just like they did lasts year.

Every year our friends host a HUGE Easter egg extravaganza. The host a nice breakfast, share a lovey Easter message and then the kids go on a HUGE Easter egg hunt with over 300 eggs hidden, toys and candy! Annie is happy to have such a yummy breakfast.

All the kids gather for a Easter message! Annie sat through the whole thing!

All the kids gather on the stairs and wait till the "Horn" blows and then they are off!

Andy took off with Brian and I stayed with Annie. She LOVED it. She went right for the pink eggs and threw the in her basket as fast as she could. Silly girl tried to go though each egg as she got them.

I loved how much she loved it.

Brian and his friend Henley going through all their loot. It was raining but they didn't care....they had fun.

I love his toothless grin!

Going through all their loot with Gaga. They both made out pretty well. Brian found a HUGE egg and for a soccer game.

They have an adult hunt for the adults with gift cards. Andy won one for Mexican food. Yay, Andy.

Eater Baskets!

New Camping Chairs. Brian left a note for the Easter bunny asking what he looked like and he was very glad to get one back,

Coming down the stairs! They where so excited!

Going through their baskets. Both where happy to get bubbles, stuffed animals and other little toys.

Too cute! They also got new water bottles for their chairs.

We set up an egg hunt around the living room and the kids had fun finding eggs filled with candy and Brian love finding money in them. He is taking the money to the bank to put in his savings account.

Brian also played some Easter Music for us that morning. We all enjoyed it.

Annie in her Easter dress from Gaga!

My pretty young thing. Annie just went to the dentist and is obsessed with teeth so she was pointing it out to me.

After a wonderful Church service, we went to Gagas and had a yummy meal and had a cousin Easter egg hunt.
