Swim Lessons!

With soccer ending, we decided to sign Brian up for swimming lessons. He takes them with two other boys his age in a Preschool 1 swim class. I just can't get over the fact that I have a son OLD enough to be in a Preschool 1 swimming class.

Blowing bubbles. I was so happy that he remembered what he learned in his last swimming class so he could in this class. He loves taking direction from his teacher and showing off.

The teacher asked who wanted to swim first and Brian practically jumped to her. He had no qualms about swimming without anyone helping . It was the first time he swam with a bubble on his back and he did good.

Yeah, that was kinda surreal to see him swimming out there by himself. He had the biggest smile on his face though. The teacher had to remind him SEVERAL times to "close your mouth smiley boy!"

He was given a noodle (which he loved) and was given the task to swim to swim with it from one end of the pool to the other. He did pretty good!

Practicing to float on his back. He enjoyed it this time since I was not the one helping. Sometimes he just does better with someone other than me.

All smiles at the end of his lesson.

Brian had a playdate at an indoor amusement park with his friend. It was so cute to these two "play" skee ball, actually I spent half of my time trying to hold him back from walking up the ramp.
