Easter 2015

Easter has come and gone but we all had such a good time celebrating. How did we ever survive holidays without the little one?

.

The long awaited activity was decorating Easter Eggs with his best friend Bo. They where pretty excited about dropping the eggs in the colored water and waiting to see what came about.

The B's reading!

Brian's Playgroup had a Easter Egg hunt at our church the Friday before Easter.

He was OFF as soon as we told him the eggs where in the Primary room.

He took the hunt as serious business and grabbed as many eggs as fast as he could. He ended up filling up his basket pretty fast. I loved how he compared eggs/candy with his friend Weston.

After the hunt, we went to the gym and opened up our findings and this boy ate WAY too much candy. I love how he is sharing his candy here. He was so excited to show me what was in each egg!

The day before Easter, Brian's friend had an Easter Egg hunt at her house. They served Breakfast and hid 300 eggs for Brian and all his friends to find. It was such a fun and festive time.

All the kids that participated. He has a really good group of friends. This was the calm before the storm :)

He had to wait with his friends until our host Blew the horn and then HE. WAS. OFF....

He made a B line for the Big egg  and then went around collecting every egg he could get his hands on.

He thought it was really funny that the eggs where in the trees. He thought they where real eggs at first, but was pretty excited when he realized they where filled with candy.

I love this picture.

Easter magic must have been in the air, because on our ride home we saw the Easter Bunny!

The night before Easter, Brian went to the Birthday Party of his Best Friend Bo, who is just 6 weeks older than him. Here they are enjoying the birthday dinner. I love these two. Best friends like their Moms.

The Mom's. Yes, I am wearing a wally Kazam shirt.....it was the theme of the party.

"Helping" Bo unwrap the presents.

Easter Morning, this boy woke us up at 6:30 am to see what the Easter Bunny brought him.

He was quite pleased with what he found in his basket...A new book, kite, a new bird feeder and bubbles.

We make this boy work for his Easter Candy. He went outside on Easter Morning to find the garden filled with goodies. Good thing he got  some gardening gloves in this basket :)

The rest of the day was spent with family and remembering the real reason for this great and  purposeful holiday.
