April 2015

April has flown by......I can't believe it is almost over. Next month Brian will be 3!

Brian went with some of his friends to a small children museum. Here he is being an archaeologist. He loved brushing all the sand off of the rocks and using his tools to discover what they are. He spent quite a bit of time here.

Brian had a fun animal day at the library. They had different animal stations set up and his favorite was matching the animals with their fur. It was a great sorting activity. I would have loved using this in my preschool classes.

Drawing with his best friend Bo and making an animal mask. He really is getting into coloring these days. The two pictures below are faces that he drew on some wrapping paper with my Dad. He drew a face with eyes, mouth and ears.

Spending time with his two friends & putting on a puppet show at the library. He loves to go behind the curtain and ask me what animal I would like to see and they he proceeds to put on a "puppet" show for me.

One Sunday, after Stake Conference, we had a picnic lunch at the beach. Often, we an see seals out on the rocks. Well, after hearing that, he got some seal food (hay in a plastic bag) and  his binoculars and was all ready to check them out with his Papa.

Brian  at his friends PJ and Pancakes Birthday party. They both looked cute wearing sunglasses.

I was a little nervous about him jumping on a trampoline, but he had a good time on it as his friends party. He thought is was pretty funny to bounce with his balloon.

Brian is getting braver and braver in his swimming classes and jumped into the pool for the first time all by himself. I love this action shot of him. The teacher was also able to get him to fully submerge his face in the water too!

For Family Night on Monday, he was pretty optimistic that he would get some fish but was OK with that he didn't get any. He just loved being near the water and with his Dad.
