Halloween 2014

                                        

Halloween was a blast this year. It was pretty much a big, festive party for a Month straight. Brian was old enough to grasp the concept of what Trick or Treating is all about. He would ask many times prior to Halloween if he could go Trick or Treating. He would go up to my hand and say "Trick or Treat" and pretend to take a piece of Candy!! Too cute!

 

Two days before Halloween, we took Brian to our church's Halloween Party. We dressed up as a family and went as football players and Andy as a couch. He looked so cute!

 

My parents came along to help with Brian at the party and they took him around to all the cars during the Trunk or Treat activity. He had the cutest little voice when saying "Trick or Treat" and did well in remembering to say thanks at the end. My cute boy was a trooper and when he treat bag got heavy, he was still determined to lug it around all night!



Brian participated in the parade and enjoyed it although he had on an ultra serious face the whole time. At the end, they had awards for costumes and he won Best Sports Costume! He had no clue why his name was called but enjoyed going up and getting his goodie bag.     Just hanging with his Dada.     At the end of a great night with his girlfriend!     On Halloween morning, I made Brian a fun breakfast with pumpkin shaped pancakes. He likes spending time in the morning with his Dad.     I brought my little Tigger over to his Great Grandma Yai Yai to trick or treat! I don't know who enjoyed it more :)

 

 

Tricking or Treating! We went to our neighborhood and he got Candy and a set of match box cars from out nice neighbor. Here he is trick or treating for Gaga and Papa!

 

The special treat of the evening was Trick or Treating with his best friend Bo and his family. These two boys where VERY eager to get going but their Mom's made them pose for these pictures.

We thought the boys would get tired walking so we put them in these two push cars and pushed them around to all the houses. They really do live the life!

My walking partner for the night. I have to many good memories of walking those same streets with her when we where younger... so surreal to be doing it with out boys.

 

The boys would did so well. We would push them in the push cars and then would race each other to the houses and then run back to the car and do it all over again. 

 

And that's how we knew he was done for the night :) So thankful to have had such a fun month with so many fun activities with him. Halloween is really one of the best nights to be a parent.
