Hiking with our Toddler

When Andy and I dated, we went on SO many hikes. It seemed like we hiked every spot in Utah County. Andy even proposed after hiking Mt. Timp. Last Saturday, we went on a 2 mile hike with Brian. It was quite the adventure hiking with a toddler.
He loves being outdoors and running free.We tried to stay a bit behind him and let him enjoy his perceived independence.Except when he tried to eat rocks...maybe he will be an archeologist like his aunt Becky!

Only part of the time he needed to be carried...Hey, that is a Dad's job right?

He kept trying to take the trail markers out and run off with them! Andy had the fun job of being the one to "help" him put them back in!

He loved seeing all the dogs on the trails and even tried to walk a few! He would do the sign for it too! He also LOVED it when his daddy taught him how to skip rocks. Every time he saw the stream he would sign and say water!

Just some cute shots near the stream.

My active Boy and I!

Eating a banana and looking up at a airplane in the sky! I love this picture.

Family Shot!
