Valentine's Day

We had a good Valentine's Day. The kids said it was the best ever, so that means it was GOOD. Gaga dropped off a homemade Valentine's Day kit for the kids and they had fun making cookies. They both love rolling out the dough and make heart shaped prints. We made a bunch and delivered them to a friend who Annie asked to be her Valentine and Brian? Well he is too cool for school and didn't want a valentine.

Our PTO put on a Valentine Themed Luncheon for the Teachers at Brian's school. I enjoyed setting up and Brian enjoyed making rice crispies and giving them to his teacher for V Day.

Oh my Sweet little one. Here she is all dressed up in some hot pants that her Gaga got her. She was all dressed up and ready to have a Valentine's Themed party with her cousin Ella for her weekly "Gaga's preschool."

These two... they really do love each other.

This year we started a really fun tradition that will be a MUST for every Valentine's Day in the future. We had a dipping party. My Mom bought me a fondue pot and we dipped as Brian put it "random" stuff in chocolate fondue. We had vanilla cookies, waffers, rice cripies, marshmellows and of course, LOTS OF FRUIT. Fruit was added to any holiday at my house growing up. It was a blast and the kids where so thankful.

Fondue it a HIT!

Annie did not like the kiwi and thought it was too sour. Brian on the other hands LOVED it and commented that it is his new favorite fruit.

So thankful for 2 healthy and happy kids that I got to show extra love too. Andy got me a "Date in a Jar" and let me rest that day! Thanks honey.
