Science Fair Project

Brian's school had a science fair open to K-4th grade. At first I thought my little lover should wait a few years, but there was a good group of kids who signed up to do it. When our friend and classmate asked us to join him, we happily obliged. Brian loved archeology and their topic was about Mummy's!

The boys loved how hands on it was.

Here they are cutting up apples and putting them in certain mixtures of baking soda, salt and Epsom salt. We watched the for a week and then recorded how they held up and what solution preserved the apple slice the most!

The scientist!

The day of the science fair! We dressed them up like mummies! They both loved getting into the part and wanted to stay in costumes all day.

Brian really got into part!

The display/poster! The boys had fun helping put it together. They bottom mummies are play dough wrapped up.

Talking with the nice judges! They did a good job explaining it all and answering all the questions.

Baby girl wanted in on the action too. Daddy and Annie came to hear the boys present.

Their hard work payed off....Such a good experience for him. He has asked already to do it next year!
