The time has come. I have dreaded this day for since day one; Kindergarten. I know it was time and he was so ready, but it was hard for me to see him go.

His beloved Gaga came and helped the 1st morning. She has been there since day one, so it was fitting to have her come. Afterwards, we went out for Breakfast.
He was quite concerned about Annie and made sure he said goodbye to her before he left. Annie misses him. You can hear her say "Bubba" during the day quite often.
This very well might be my favorite all time photo of Brian. He looks so old in this picture and so much like his namesake.

He was ready. His school had a phase in program where the they had a meet and greet with the teacher one day, 2 hour day with 1/2 his class one day and a 1/2 day another day. That helped so much.

The Day before school started, every kindergartener was given the book "The kissing Hand." It's a book about separating from your Mother for the 1st time, but always carrying her kiss in your hand.
He had a good first day and did a lot of activities from the book "Pete the Cat" and lots of pattern activities.
Homegirl wanted to join the students......in a few years run away baby!
