Dr. Seuss Day

We celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday by going to the library for a Dr. Seuss themed story time. He thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the stories. He takes story time very seriously-sitting up straight and paying attention to what the Librarian says.
He LOVED the Cat in the Hat activity. We have been working with him for a while on drawing circles for eyes and he tried to do just that!!

That afternoon Brian wanted to see his Yai Yai and Papa and read with them all the Dr. Seuss books he got at the library. Brian kept pointing to the pictures and telling Yai Yai what he saw and she would read the words.

 

I love this picture of the two of them. I am so glad Brian has got the opportunity to know his Great Grandparents. Whenever we drive near their apartment, Brian always ask to go see them. They always give him "black cookies" when we visit...he sure does love Oreos.

 

Let's be honest, the best part of his day is tackling Gaga. He sneaks behind her and before she knows it....
