Galveston Railroad Museum

During our weekend in Southern Texas, Brian, the lover of trains, tractors, buses, garbage trucks, basically anything with wheels, spotted a real train. Upon closer inspection, we learned it was a Train Museum. How lucky can a little boy be!

It was modeled after a old fashion train station, with antique railroad signs and model trains sets. Brian was enamored with everything and spend quite a bit of time looking at all the exhibits. He kept walking around with a surreal look on his face, like he could believe he was in a room with everything that had to do with trains!

Here is Brian waiting with his Papa for the train to arrive. The silly boy kept calling it and holding his hand up to stop it when he thought it was going to ride by him.

My little Bubba LOVED running up and down the isle and exploring everything. He loved hiding from everyone and climbing up and jumping on the bed. The train itself reminded me of the train off of the movie White Christmas. It was sure nice to have extra help to run after him :)

Loving all the train exhibits. This particular one was one that you could turn off the light and watch it glow in the dark.

My Dad took him to the gift shop and let him pick out his very own train to take home. We stayed around after and just let him play with it after. He sure had fun winding it up and playing in such an open space with his Gaga and Papa.

Thank you for such a great time Papa and Gaga! Brian still talks about it!
