Easter 2014

Easter 2014 was a good one. Brian had 3 Easter egg hunts, dyed eggs and learned about the real meaning of Easter. Needless to say, Easter was celebrated in our home.

At the beginning of this month, I made this centerpiece .This is the tutorial that I used. Brian loved it and enjoyed pointing out the different colors.

A few weeks before Easter, we attended a Easter egg hunt at our local zoo. Brian wasted no time trying to find the biggest egg!

Brian enjoyed racing around trying to grab as many eggs as he could. He had a hard time grasping the concept  about picking up an egg and putting in the basket . He would find an egg and rip in open in search of the candy and then toss the egg aside! Smart boy!

My cute boy!

He also got to sit with the Easter Bunny. He pretty much ignore the bunny and had a death grip on the egg the whole time and even tried to run off with it. He really is such a social boy.

Family Shot!

Easter Weekend was spent in Fayette with Andy's family. Since they live in small town in the country, Brian spent most of the time outdoors and enjoy nature and the farm animals.

Since Fayette is so small, people often drive four-wheelers around town. Brian loved the "broom broom!" He even woke me up several times a night asking to drive it.

He felt like such a big boy. He really believed he was driving it.

Pointing to the town park!

He LOVED this merry go round! He was so dirty at the end of the night from all the playing and four wheeling.

Decorating Easter eggs. He really enjoyed it but the color blue was definitely his favorite. He kept saying "Oh...Ahhh!" as the egg would turn colors.

This is what awaited Brian Easter Morning!!! I had the goal of making most the of stuff for his Easter Basket and enjoyed doing it. I made the football Easter Basket liner (Brian picked out that fabric), the beanbag eggs, the bowties and the ABC church book. I found a tutorial for a car caddy and made it with the help of my mother in law. He loved it!

Easter morning fun. He loved the car caddy and has not stopped driving the cars into the pockets since he got it.

Easter Morning! He was all dressed up and looking like the Shiz in the outfit that my Mom got him.

After church we did an Egg hunt around the house.

He was a little tired so instead of looking for the eggs, he kept signing Candy and wanted Andy and I to look for it.

He liked all the candy but his favorite was the lollypops. He loved them and kept trying to shove as many in his mouth as he could! Ahhh..... only on Easter.
